To empower interpreters and translators by raising professional standards, promoting achievement of protection of title, and driving the regulation of the profession, ensuring that language services are respected, reliable, and of the highest quality.

Association of Interpreters and Translators (AIT) empowers interpreters and translators to excel professionally and ethically. Through AIT membership, professionals gain access to comprehensive continuous professional development, practical business support, and exclusive networking opportunities. Our programme includes CPD events, intensive training in specialised fields, joint training with law enforcement, and international conference participation.
 
Members benefit from advocacy, pro bono initiatives, marketing support, supervision, and discounts on software, publications, and events. AIT fosters a vibrant community through social events, online groups, and volunteer opportunities, ensuring members thrive both professionally and personally.

Experienced interpreter specialising in legal and public service settings, including police interviews, legal consultations, and court proceedings, with expertise in transcribing and translating legal documents. I also provide conference and business interpreting, with over 300 hours of professional experience in conference booth, and have contributed to European and international projects across sectors such as oil and gas, engineering, medical, construction, and design.
 
I have been serving as Chairman on the Board of AIT in a volunteer capacity since 2019. As one of the founders of the association, I take great pride in how far we have come and the positive impact we have made within the interpreting and translation profession. Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding the strategic direction of the association, supporting our members, and fostering professional growth and collaboration within our community. Being part of AIT’s journey from its inception has been incredibly rewarding, and I remain committed to promoting excellence, professionalism, and innovation in our field.
 
I actively support all teams at AIT, ensuring smooth collaboration and helping advance the association’s goals across all areas of activity.
